What can I say—2025 has been quite the year. Plenty of ups, plenty of downs, and if I’m being honest, a chapter I’m more than ready to close. But I digress.
Hi, I’m Nick, and you just so happen to be staring at my newest project: Wildwood Wanderer.
Blogging has always found its way into my life at different points over the years. Most of those attempts fizzled out (we’ll politely call them products of their time), but it never really occurred to me to build something that simply reflects… me. Something personal. Something timeless. That’s the idea behind Wildwood Wanderer—a place to document my adventures and share them with the world.

There are a couple of reasons I’m especially excited about this project. First, it represents the beginning of a chapter that’s been delayed more times than I can count by circumstances completely out of my control. I think that’s something most of us can relate to. Life happens. Plans get postponed. And yet, here we are.
Second, Wildwood Wanderer gives me a chance to use what I’ve learned over the years to hopefully spark confidence in others—to explore, to build, to try. Helping someone realize they can do something has a funny way of keeping the fire burning. Call it paying it forward.
So with that, welcome. Truly. If you’ve found your way here, I’m glad you did. It means a lot to be able to share a meaningful slice of my life with you, and I hope you’ll keep coming back.
Please bear with me as I get everything dialed in. This is brand new, and there isn’t much to dig into just yet—but I’ve got big plans for 2026. I hope you’ll stick around and watch this space grow, one step at a time.
